Some people spend their entire day reading romance novels or watching back-to-back episodes of CSI Miami.  Others, such as myself, abuse paper (sorry paper!).  This blog will be yet another excuse to pick up a pen or pencil and scribble, scratch, jot, sketch, and scrawl away while I waste copious amounts of wood pulp.  I will review writing utensils, paper products, and everything in between.  Over the past year I have accumulated all kinds of wonderful tools–I have an unhealthy obsession with bizarre or rare low-priced pens.

I will do my very best to update the site frequently!

Thanks for stopping by,

    hi there

Could you do a review on “Pentel Superb Ballpoint Pen 0.7mm (BK77)” please? I have just purchased “Pentel Superb Ballpoint Pen 1.0mm (BK77M)” and I have to say it wasn’t quite
what I expected. I blame the French because it was made in France which I though it would be made in Japan. I would say the stabilo exam grade is my favourite at the moment but I’m always trying to find an alternative and I wonder if 0.7mm would be better than what I have right now (1.0mm).
    Thanks for your time.

If I come across the pen, I will be sure to review it for you. My apologies about not updating the site recently; I have been very busy with work and school.

I find it interesting that your Pentel was made in France and not Japan. I have heard of Japanese companies manufacturing products in countries with cheaper production/labor costs (China, Vietnam, etc), but never higher-cost countries like France. Maybe the economy in the EU is hurting that badly?
